After 3 hours walking about the ruins of the medieval fortress of Les Baux, it was too late to consider having lunch in St. Remy. So the four of us decided to just grab an open table at a restaurant in the (touristy) lower town of Les Baux. Le Bouchon Rouge menu looked good, so we dined there.
SERVICE: 2.5. Fast, professional, and delivered without a smile. Delivered ham crepe instead lf mushroom. Oddly, we enjoyed the service.
AMBIANCE: 3.0.
FOOD: 3.5. Surprisingly good.
- Provencial plate: 4.5. Olive tapas, hummus, soft goat cheese on bread, sausage slices, meat pate, green salad, fresh and baked tomatos.
- Crepes. 3.0 to 3.5. (Three orders)
